What You Get

Michael can tailor his presentation to most needs or requests, but generally does a ninety minute acoustic concert without intermission using piano and guitar as accompaniment. Michael's original music and compelling storytelling combine to make a performance rich in laughter, generous in insight, and unafraid of tears.

For example, "My First Dance" is a hilarious description of an event many of us remember all too well; "Daddy Cut My Hair" deals with a son's reconciliation with his father. Encouragement to be light when we find ourselves surrounded by darkness is poetically crafted in "The Hope Ends the Human Drought". Gratitude is simply expressed in "Lord of the Fields".

Michael leads the audience/congregation on a textured path of memories and emotions evoked through both word and song, ending with a hope drawn from the firm trust in the loving heart of God.
